No hen night out would be complete without the infamous hen party t-shirts. Bright colours, silly slogans, naughty names, anything goes! But you don’t have to spend a lot to make your hen party stand out.

Buying your t-shirts online or finding a local printers is a popular option for hen parties these days, however, if you find your selves on a budget why not have a go at making them yourselves. Get together and create your own designs on plain t-shirts or have a go at designing each others, see what you can get away with!

Try to find a matching colour scheme to help make your group stand out from the crowd, not to mention help you find one another towards the end of the night ;)

Fabric paints can be purchased from any reputable local arts and crafts shop and specialised printer paper can be bought from stationary supply stores to quickly and simply iron onto clothes and fabrics. All you need is a computer and printer (and an iron of course). Create your design and follow the instructions included.

But what should I put on my design?

Some popular ideas include:

  • Pictures of the bride or group photo of the hen party
  • Cheeky nicknames for the wearer, usually beginning with the same letter for example “Kinky Kate”
  • The date so you don’t forget when it happened
  • Slogans on the front or back, or both. How about something sensible on the front and something  naughty on the back
  • Wedding titles of each member, Bride, Bridesmaid, Maid of honour
  • The event name “Jessica’s Hen Night 2010″
  • Theme image, if your event has a dress theme like Cowgirls or Police women, get a related image, there are thousands available on the web

If you think of any more ideas, let us know in the comments below and if they’re good we’ll include them!

Have a great night ;)
