So, you’re gathered around with your closest friends celebrating your last night of freedom – what better way to get the party started than with some dirty party games?
One of the most popular games is ‘I have Never…’ or ‘Have you Ever’ depending on where you’re from – a risqué game that is guaranteed to get the drinks and conversation flowing!
Everyone sits around in a circle and takes in turns to reveal something that they have never done; you can modify this depending on the audience but to make things interesting, it’s advisable to keep things of a sexual nature! As each person speaks, you must take a drink – either a shot or a gulp of whatever you’re drinking – if you have done what they describe. You will find yourselves finding out things you never knew about your friends, and watch people get desperate as they run out of things to tell you! This is a great icebreaker, and is guaranteed to give you laughs and make the bride-to-be blush.
Another game is a little twist on the classic kid’s party game – pass the parcel. Wrap your presents the way you normally would but place ‘naughty’ gifts and dares within the layers of the paper. There are loads of places you can buy these gifts now – chocolate cocks, straws, finger vibes, body chocolate – the list goes on! Everybody must do their dare or face a suitable forfeit – which, of course, should be worse than the original!
Or, if you fancy doing something a little bit more elaborate, why not try a scavenger hunt? You can either pre-arrange this, leaving clues and objects on a planned route or try it with a twist – aim to get as many pairs of boxer shorts or phone numbers; the person with the most objects at the end of the night, wins!

Scavenger hunts are probably the number one most popular game played on a hen night. They involve setting a list of tasks for the soon to be bride and/or members of the hen party to complete. Tasks can be things they must do or items they must find during the night out.
These could be anything from getting a stranger to give you their underwear to getting as many people as possible to sign their shirt. Each of the challenges must be completed or else they must face the consequences. Rewards or forfeits can be handed out for each successful completion or failure of a task.
You can play the game simply with a pen and paper or you can use a t-shirt with the tasks listed on the front or back. There are pre-made shirts available or you can create your own.
To create your own first decide on your tasks. Be realistic, there’s only so much time in a night, so pick say ten items or one item per party member, provided there isn’t a hundred people coming of course. Create a check list with a box so each item can be ticked off, watch out for cheating!
If you’ve done any great dares or forfeits at a party or hen night, feel free to share them in the comments below!
