If you’re organising a hen party don’t forget to include at least one party game that the whole group can play. If you’re stuck for party game ideas for your hen night then read this list of our top 5 favourite party games for hen nights.
- The Scavenger Hunt Game
A very popular game at hen night parties. At the beginning of the night each guest should write down on a piece of paper a task they would like the Bride to complete. See how many she can manage before the end of the night.
- The T-Shirt Name Game
This game requires a plain white t-shirt for the bride-to-be. Using a marker take turns to write down men’s names, front and back. During the course of the night the bride must get people to search for their name and cross it off. You can award prizes for each successful name found or perhaps forfeits for each name not found by the end of the night!
- The Who Did What Game
A revealing game and chance for the Bride to have some revenge for all the embarrassment so far. Each person at the hen party should write down a funny experience they’ve had with dating. Give all the pieces of paper to the Bride so she can read them out and then try to guess whose experience is whose.
- The Mr and Mrs Game
Prepare a list of 20 questions and get the groom to answer them. Questions can be as simple or as random as you like. Some example questions are, “His favourite colour”, “His most treasured possession”, “His biggest childhood hero”. Ask each of the guests how many questions they think she’ll get right and see who came closest by the end of the night.
- The Story Time Game
This is a game you may have played when you were young. You only need a pen and paper. Have the hen party each take a turn to write a part of a story, one sentence will do. Then after each turn fold the paper over so that the next player cannot see what has already been written. The last player in the game can then unfold the paper and read the story out aloud. Give each player a tip about what to write about to give the story some structure.

The bachelorette party or hen night is a fantastic opportunity to have fun and get a little crazy with your friends before the big day. Creating t-shirts for the big night out can be a great way to personalise the hen night and provide everyone with a relatively inexpensive keepsake.
The t-shirts can all match, have a slogan or be customised for each person, but they usually stick to a common theme. Some people like to have the titles of the attendees such as The Bride, Bridesmaid and Maid of honour, some like to create funny individual names for people like Sexy Susan or Jessica Rabbit. Suggestive names are quite popular and can sometimes poke a little fun at the character of the wearer. Try not to offend anyone too much though
Why not use a slogan for all the t-shirts, “last night of freedom tour 2010″ or “XXXX’s Hen Night” to create a common theme then personalise it for each member of the hen party. Maybe you have a theme for your outfits for example Charlie’s Angels, simply use the Charlie’s angel font and replace Charlie with the name of the bride-to-be, maybe you could even include the logo.
There are many T-shirt printers online who can suggest or create custom designs for you or you could purchase some pre-designed hen night t-shirts. But for a truly personal touch you should customise them a little too.
Following the cheaper route you can purchase specialised printer paper from any stationary shop or fabric paints from any arts and crafts shop. This can require a little more effort on your part but you can produce some fantastic hen party t-shirts all on your own. You will need to buy some blank t-shirts for this but you might also find that there is a wider variety of styles available too.
One last note, remember to check everyone’s sizes before placing any orders.
If you have any hen party t-shirt ideas of your own please feel free to leave your suggestions in the comments below, thanks!

A classic feature of any hen night are the hen party t shirt slogans. Create a group identity, stand out from the crowd and let everyone know that you’re here to have some serious fun! Create your individual hen party names based around your t-shirt slogan. Tie it in with the theme of your hen night and you’re onto a winner.
Slogans can be anything from clever, funny, rhyming, sexy or just plain crude. If you’re stuck for ideas, think carefully about the theme of your hen night. Jot down some ideas and ask your mates for their opinions.
Remember to choose your t-shirt slogan wisely, is it possible you might you regret it later? Think carefully about who’s going to be there, you probably don’t want to offend anyone? You want this to be a night you’ll remember (at least partially) not one you’d rather forget. There will certainly be photos afterwards, would you be comfortable showing your elderly aunty the pictures? If not then maybe you need to come up with something else. Make it a night you want to remember not forget.
Also, be aware that some bars and clubs may refuse service to your party if they think it’s a little too rude. So if you’re going to be risqué you might want to check out which venues will have you in advance to save any problems on the night
Have fun!
